Offer Terms and Conditions

  1. What is the Offer?

    Any tradespeople who have a Free Profile with Checkatrade (“Profile”) and meet the Eligibility Criteria below, between the 30th October 2025 and 13th November 2025 (inclusive) may be entitled to claim a £10 Amazon.co.uk Gift Card (the “Gift Card”) (together, the “Offer”).

     

  2. What are the Eligibility Criteria?

    To be eligible to receive the Offer the tradesperson must have:

    • uploaded one or more photos of their recent work on to their Profile;
    • request a review using their unique link*; and
    • uploaded a cover photo and logo to their profile.

      *Subject always to compliance of the Checkatrade Review guidelines for Trades.
       

  3. When will the Gift Card be sent?
    If the tradesperson meets the Eligibility Criteria, Checkatrade will email the tradesperson within a reasonable period thereafter with a link to a webpage where they can claim their Gift Card (the “Claim Email”).

    The Claim Email will include a link to a webpage (the “Claim Link”) where the tradesperson will be required to enter the specific information requested by Checkatrade.

    If the tradesperson is eligible, the Gift Card will be sent to the primary email address registered with the tradesperson’s Checkatrade account within 30 days after they have submitted the required information via the Claim Link.

    The Claim Link will expire 6 months after the date of the Claim Email, and the Gift Card will not be available to claim after this date.

     

  4. Are there any Gift Card specific terms and conditions?

    • The Gift Card will be issued by Amazon EU S.à r.l. (“Gift Card Provider”). Checkatrade will give the tradesperson’s name and email address to the Gift Card Provider enable them to issue the Gift Card.
    • The Gift Card is subject to the terms and conditions of the Gift Card Provider which can be found here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=200272910
    • The Gift Card may only be used at Amazon.co.uk.
    • Gift Cards expire 10 years from the date of issuance.
    • The risk of loss and title for Gift Card passes to the tradesperson upon the Gift Card Provider’s electronic transmission of the Gift Card. The tradesperson must make sure they keep the Gift Card safe and do not share the unique gift card code with anyone else.
    • The Gift Card Provider is not responsible if any Gift Card is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission. 

       

  5. Is there anything else I need to know?
    • The Offer is personal to the recipient and is not transferable to any other person or third party.
    • This Offer is subject to compliance with the Checkatrade Terms and Conditions for Tradespeople, including the Product Terms – Free Profile (the “Agreement”). If the Tradesperson fails to comply with the Agreement prior to receipt of the Offer, Checkatrade reserves the right to withdraw the Offer. If the Tradesperson fails to comply with the Agreement after receipt of the Offer, Checkatrade may (at its sole discretion and without prejudice to its other rights and remedies under the Agreement) require that Tradesperson to reimburse the cost of the Offer to Checkatrade.
    • Where a word has a capital letter it will have the meaning defined in these Offer Terms and Conditions.
    • Checkatrade reserves the right to substitute the Offer with another Offer of equal or greater value if the Offer is not available or cannot be provided.
    • To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law: a) Checkatrade’s total liability arising out of or in connection with these Offer Terms and Conditions whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise shall in be limited to the value of £10; and b) Checkatrade shall not be liable for any loss of profits, sales or business, or any indirect or consequential losses.
