Offer Terms and Conditions

If you receive this offer directly from Checkatrade and apply for Checkatrade Membership during the Validity Period (as set out below), you will be entitled to your Membership Tier fees at half price for the first 6 months (the “Offer”).

The Offer is subject to these Offer Terms and Conditions.

  • The Offer is open for acceptance by you for 3 calendar months from the date of the direct email or SMS correspondence from Checkatrade including the Offer (“Validity Period”). If you receive more than one email or SMS correspondence including the Offer, the Validity Period will run from the most recent date of correspondence, unless otherwise stated in such correspondence.
  • The Offer only applies to the fees for your selected primary trade category, and associated Membership Tier (Approved, Lite, Standard or Pro), plus any additional postcodes for that primary trade category. Fees for your secondary /or any additional trade categories or products will be charged at full price.
  • Should you indicate your wish to accept the Offer when you apply for Checkatrade Membership and you meet the conditions, the Offer will be automatically applied.
  • Offer periods are not trial periods.
  • You will be entering into a 12 month contract with Checkatrade, and the offer will only apply to the first 6 months of your Membership whilst the remaining 6 months will be charged at the full amount appropriate to your Membership Tiers, trade categories and postcodes.
  • The Offer is personal to the recipient and is not transferable to any other person or company.
  • In order to qualify for the Offer, you are required to have an active Direct Debit with Checkatrade.
  • The Offer and Your Membership is subject to your compliance with the Membership Agreement (https://www.checkatrade.com/membership-terms). If you fail to comply with the Membership Agreement after receipt of the discount and your Membership is terminated, Checkatrade may (at its sole discretion and without prejudice to its other rights and remedies under the Membership Agreement) require you to pay the full amount of Membership to Checkatrade for those months.
  • Where a word has a capital letter it will have the meaning defined in these Offer Terms and Conditions. Where the meaning it not defined in these Offer Terms and Conditions, the word will have the meaning as set out at https://www.checkatrade.com/definitions-and-interpretation.
  • This Offer may be changed or withdrawn or may be exchanged for another offer of equal value by Checkatrade at any time.
  • The Offer is exclusive and is not available in addition to any other Checkatrade offers and promotions.
  • A waiver of any right or remedy under the Offer Terms and Conditions or by law shall not be deemed a waiver of any other or subsequent right or remedy.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law: a) Checkatrade’s total liability to you arising out of or in connection with these Offer Terms and Conditions whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise shall in be limited to the value of the discount you received; and b) Checkatrade shall not be liable to you for any loss of profits, sales or business, or any indirect or consequential losses.
