Checkatrade Essentials

1. What is the Offer?

If you receive this offer directly from Checkatrade and you apply to become a Checkatrade member during the Validity Period (as set out below), you will be entitled to our Essentials Bundle (as set out below) from £45 per month (the “Offer”).

The Offer is subject to these Offer Terms and Conditions.

2. What are the key Offer Terms and Conditions?

Essentials Bundle: The Essential’s Bundle is for 12 month Approved Membership and one standard box in three consecutive Checkatrade Directory publications only.

Fees: The Fees for the Essentials Bundle start at £45 per month and are subject to location and category. You will be advised of the monthly costs by our agent at point of sale.

Payment: Monthly payment amounts may vary depending on the timing of Directory entries. You will be advised of the monthly costs by our agent at point of sale.

Validity Period: The Offer is open for acceptance by you for 1 calendar month from the date of our correspondence including the Offer. If you receive more than one correspondence including the Offer, the Validity Period will run from the most recent date of correspondence, unless otherwise stated in such correspondence.

Additional Products: Fees for any additional or enhanced boxes or adverts, Flexible Membership Tiers, postcodes, trade categories or any other products or services will be charged separately.

Upgrades: Approved Membership is our entry tier membership which provides Members with vetting, an online profile and marketing assets. Approved Members are only visible when searched by name and are not provided with leads. If you wish to change to one of our Flexible Membership Tiers, you can do so for an additional fee. Please discuss this with our agent at point of sale.

Vetting: You must have passed our vetting before the print deadline for the Directory you wish to be included in. The print deadline will depend upon the location of the Directory and will be advised to you by our agent at point of sale. If you have not passed vetting before the print deadline or you apply for Membership after the print deadline for the Directory you wish to be included in, you will automatically be signed up to the next scheduled Directory for that location.

3. Is there anything else I need to know?

• You must receive the Offer directly from a Checkatrade Representative. The Offer is personal to you and is not transferable to any other person or company.
• This Offer is only available to new Checkatrade Members. You will not be entitled to this offer if you have been a Checkatrade Member in the last 3 months.
• You will be entering into a 12 month contract with Checkatrade and will be committed to the Essentials Bundle as a minimum during those 12 months.

• Should you indicate your wish to accept the Offer when you apply for Checkatrade Membership, the Offer will be automatically applied. Your application for Membership to include the Offer is your acceptance of these Offer Terms and Conditions.
• Where a word has a capital letter it will have the meaning defined in these Offer Terms and Conditions. Where the meaning it not defined in these Offer Terms and Conditions, the word will have the meaning as set out in the Membership Agreement.
• This Offer may be changed or withdrawn by Checkatrade at any time. However, should you sign up for Membership prior to the date of change or withdrawal, Checkatrade will honour the Offer in place at the time you signed up.
• The Offer is only available once per Checkatrade Membership.
• The Offer is exclusive and is not available in additional to any other Checkatrade offers and promotions unless otherwise agreed with Checkatrade.
• A waiver of any right or remedy under the Offer Terms and Conditions or by law shall not be deemed a waiver of any other or subsequent right or remedy.
• To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law: a) Checkatrade’s total liability to you arising out of or in connection with these Offer Terms and Conditions whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise shall in be limited to £200; and b) Checkatrade shall not be liable to you for any loss of profits, sales or business, or any indirect or consequential losses.
