Offer Terms and Conditions

The Offer

Tradespeople who meet the Eligibility Criteria below between 1 April 2026 and 30 April 2026 (inclusive) will be eligible to receive a promotional discount on a 12-month Fixed Plan membership, based on the primary trade category selected at the time of sign-up.

The applicable discounts and trade categories to which they apply are set out below.

50% off the first 2 months

Tradespeople whose primary trade category selected at sign-up is one of the following will receive 50% off the first 2 months of their Fixed Plan membership:

Roofer.

25% off the first 4 months

Tradespeople whose primary trade category selected at sign-up is one of the following will receive 25% off the first 4 months of their Fixed Plan membership:

Handyman; and
Painter/Decorator.

100% off the first month

Tradespeople whose primary trade category selected at sign-up is one of the following will receive 100% off the first month of their Fixed Plan membership:

Builder;
Carpenter;
Gardener; and
Plumber.

100% off the first 2 months

Tradespeople whose primary trade category selected at sign-up is one of the following will receive 100% off the first 2 months of their Fixed Plan membership:

(each an “Offer” and together the “Offers”).

Each Offer applies to a 12-month Fixed Plan membership, and the discount is applied to the membership price excluding VAT.

Eligibility

To qualify for an Offer, the tradesperson must:

sign up to a Checkatrade Fixed Plan;
maintain an active Direct Debit with Checkatrade; and
select an eligible primary trade category at sign-up, which determines the Offer they qualify for.

By signing up to Checkatrade, the tradesperson agrees to be bound by these Offer Terms and Conditions.

Any changes to a tradesperson’s trade categories after sign-up will not affect the Offer applied at the time of sign-up.

The Offer is personal to the recipient, non-transferable, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other Checkatrade promotion or discount.

General

The Offers are subject to compliance with the Checkatrade Terms and Conditions for Tradespeople (the “Agreement”). If the tradesperson fails to comply with the Agreement, Checkatrade may withdraw the Offer or require reimbursement of the value of the Offer.
Checkatrade may amend, suspend or withdraw the Offers at any time, and may substitute an Offer with another offer of equal or greater value where the relevant Offer cannot be provided.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Checkatrade shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising in connection with these Offer Terms and Conditions. Checkatrade’s total liability under these Offer Terms and Conditions shall be limited to £100. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.
Where a word is capitalised in these Offer Terms and Conditions, it has the meaning given in these terms or in the Agreement, as applicable.
These Offer Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising in connection with them.
