Offer Terms and Conditions

 1. What is the Offer? 

Any tradespeople who:

  • apply for a Checkatrade Fixed Plan product; and

  • meet the Eligibility Criteria detailed below;

between 16th April 2025 and 30th April 2025 (inclusive), will be entitled to their first month’s membership for free of charge (excluding VAT, Approved memberships and Directories) (“Offer”).

2. What are the Eligibility Criteria?

To be eligible for the Offer, the tradesperson must have:

  • signed up to a Fixed Plan product; and

  • have an active Direct Debit with Checkatrade, and

  • have a primary trade category set to one of the categories listed below;

Air Conditioning, Alarms/Security, Appliance Services/Repair, Architectural Services, Asbestos Services, Bathrooms, Bedrooms, Blacksmith/Ironwork, Bricklayer, Carpenter, Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning, Carpets/Flooring, Central Heating Engineer, Chimney Sweep, Cleaning Services, Curtains/Blinds/Shutters, Damp Proofer, Drain/Sewer Clearance, Drone Surveying, Electrician, EPC Surveys, Fascia/Soffits/Guttering, Fireplaces/Stoves, Flood Protection/Defence, Furniture Repair/ Restoration, Garage Doors, Garage/Vehicle Services, Garden Services, Glass, Grass Cutting, Groundworks, Handyman, Hire Services, Home Automation/Media, Home Improvements, Household Water Treatment, Insulation, Interior Designer, It and Consultancy, Kitchens, Landlord Services, Locksmith, Lofts/Loft Ladders, Miscellaneous Services, Mobility, Motor Homes, Oven Cleaning, Pest/Vermin Control, Plasterer, Reclamation, Removals/Storage, Renewable Energy , Rubbish/Waste/Clearance, Scaffolder, Shop Fitting, Stonemason, Surface Repair , Surveying, Swimming Pools, Telecommunications, Tiler-Tiling, Towing/Transportation, Transport Services, TV Aerials/Satellite Services, Weather Coatings , Window Cleaner, Windows/Doors/Conservatories

(together these are the “Eligibility Criteria”).

3. Is there anything else I need to know? 

  • The Offer is exclusive and is not available in addition to any other Checkatrade discount offers and promotions.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law: a) Checkatrade’s total liability arising out of or in connection with these Offer Terms and Conditions whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise shall in be limited to the value of the value of the discount you are offered and b) Checkatrade shall not be liable for any loss of profits, sales or business, or any indirect or consequential losses.

  • This Offer may be changed or withdrawn by Checkatrade at any time. Checkatrade reserves the right to substitute the Offer with another Offer of equal or greater value if the Offer is not available or cannot be provided.

  • Where a word has a capital letter it will have the meaning defined in these Offer Terms and Conditions, or the Agreement (as applicable).

  • This Offer is subject to compliance with the Checkatrade Terms and Conditions for Tradespeople, including the Product Terms – Payment Services (the “Agreement”). If the tradesperson fails to comply with the Agreement prior to receipt of the Offer, Checkatrade reserves the right to withdraw the Offer. If the tradesperson fails to comply with the Agreement after receipt of the Offer, Checkatrade may (at its sole discretion and without prejudice to its other rights and remedies under the Agreement) require that tradesperson to reimburse the cost of the Offer.

  • The Offer is personal to the recipient and is not transferable to any other person or third party.
